Brendon Schwartz is a Collaboration Architect in Atlanta specializing in SharePoint, Collaboration and Social Computing applications. Brendon is a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server MVP, author of multiple SharePoint books, and cofounder of the Atlanta .NET Regular Guys hosted at DevCow (www.devcow.com).
Brendon is a well respected software architect in Atlanta. He has helped companies such as the Atlanta Journal and Constitution, Manheim, AutoTrader.com, and Coca-Cola Enterprise build successful applications. Currently a Microsoft MVP for SharePoint, he has also been a Microsoft MVP for ASP.NET and past Vice President of Technology for INETA. Always growing, Brendon has worked with new technologies such as Mashups, Azure, and SharePoint 2010. Today, Brendon continues to work solving real world business problems with Microsoft technologies, such as SharePoint, Office, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, ASP.NET MVC and new web technologies. He previously has worked with a variety of technolgies such as VSTS, Windows Mobile, BizTalk, and various .NET technologies.

Brendon has worked in the Atlanta area User Group scene and is known around town as one of the Atlanta .Net Regular Guys (www.devcow.com). Brendon has been a regular presenter at user groups and conferences. In addition to presenting at local user groups, he helped envision the Free Training 1,2,3! series (www.freetraining123.com) to help developers learn Microsoft technologies. He presented material at the first SharePoint 1,2,3! event (www.sharepoint123.com) hosted by the Atlanta Microsoft Professionals. Brendon has helped on the leadership teams of five different user groups, and has been interviewed for his community efforts on Pod Casts - including the ASP.NET Pod Cast, .NET Rocks! (Carl Franklin Road Show - Atlanta) and the SharePoint Show Pod Cast. He is currently the president of the Atlanta Microsoft Professionals, a Board Member of the Atlanta IASA chapter, a Board Member of the AtlantaMDF group, a regional ISPA regional Evangelist for the SouthEast and helps guide the community through his efforts at DevCow (http://www.devcow.com) . Brendon has also contributed to many codeplex projects such as the Extended Club Site and the Community Kit for SharePoint (CKS). He was featured in thefirst ever CKS Newsletter and profiled as the Project Manager of the project WorkBook.

Brendon has participated in many of the Community Kit for SharePoint projects since the beginning. He has presented on the CKS:EBE, CKS:EWE, and CKS:IEE at the Office Developer Conference as well as been a contributor to the CKS:EWE and CKS:IEE. Brendon currently is the project manager for the CKS:WBE aimed at providing social actions to ShaePoint 2007.
